Following her school remark issue, which resurfaced after her grammar error, LE SSERAFIM Hong Eunchae is being mocked for not going to school, even calling her "uneducated."
Summary of LE SSERAFIM Hong Eunchae's Typo & Past School Remark Issues
In various online communities and on the X platform, the idol sparked divided opinions for her recent remarks and gestures, which didn't sit well with Korean students. As a result, she is being ridiculed for her academic level and for not going to school.
The issue started on March 15 when the LE SSERAFIM maknae accidentally wrote a typographical error.
In her Weverse post featuring her thankful heart over Red Velvet Wendy's gift, she unintentionally used "How dare you" instead of "How dare I," which changed the whole context and intention of the text she wrote.
In the post, it seemed like she was disrespecting Wendy by saying how dare she gave her a jam as a gift. Later on, Eunchae realized her mistake and corrected it herself.

Her fans found it a cute and innocent mistake, but Korean students were not impressed, bringing back her past remark about attending school.
On the same day, Eunchae went viral for her past remark, in which she said:
"Oh, you all are in school. Huh? That must be tough. So tough… I know what it’s like. I also had to wake up at 7."
While it might sound like she was encouraging students, Korean students were offended as Eunchae was making various cute gestures with her "condescending" tone.
LE SSERAFIM Hong Eunchae's Academic Level Ridiculed After Typo, Past Remark Issues
Although the two aforementioned incidents were completely unrelated, K-netizens are linking the two to call Eunchae "uneducated."
In the video, which has currently over 28M views and 15k quoted tweets, her academic level is being questioned as an idol who dropped out of high school to focus on her idol career.
Netizens accuse her of failing her initial entrance exam for Hanlim Arts School twice. They tell her to go back to school to experience that studying and being an idol aren't the same.
Commenters also claim that she had it "easy" to debut as an idol and earn money at her age, while students her age are struggling at school only for them to be "mocked" by the idol.
Meanwhile, FEARNOTs (fandom) are defending Hong Eunchae, telling haters that it was obviously the idol just being playful. They claim that people are only taking the idol's intention out of context to hate on her.
if I say ssera gets hate 4 evry tiny things i mean it the amount trolling 4 a mere spelling mistake/grammatical error is not normal 8k+ likes and 12k+ quotes and these Koreans were d same who were saying the SWAN SONG lyrics don't make sense cause "le sserafim don't have haters" https://t.co/WrSfOBdHIc

I hope she never changes after this. Eunchae is such a straightforward person, firm and vocal about her opinions to the point that she is even labeled as a rude person. Her teasing and silliness towards the members and staff are also her affectionate way.
