In a poignant display of enduring relevance, 2nd Generation K-Pop pioneers Highlight, formerly known as BEAST or B2AST, were moved to tears following their recent victory on a music show, marking a remarkable journey spanning nearly 15 illustrious years since their debut.
Highlight's emotional outpouring came on March 19, as they clinched their first win for the electrifying anthem "BODY," the lead single from their 5th mini-album "Switch On."
This triumphant moment not only signified their 66th collective win but also underscored the unwavering devotion of their dedicated fan base.
Second Conquest on KBS 2TV's Music Bank
Adding another feather to their illustrious cap, "BODY" seized the top spot on KBS 2TV's esteemed program "Music Bank" on March 22, securing their second consecutive win and 67th overall.
With an impressive tally of 7,255 points, Highlight outshone Red Velvet's Wendy and her track "Wish You Hell." Despite their seasoned accolades, Highlight couldn't contain their emotions as they received the coveted award. Yoseob (Yang Yoseop) was visibly contemplative, resonating with the sentiment of their enduring journey since their inception in October 2009, when they were honored with the Rookie of the Month award by South Korea's Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism in December.
