Fans may be surprised to learn that Seulgi loves a good drink to wind down at the end of the day. Her high alcohol tolerance is a twist on her adorable, bright personality, but the idol can handle her liquor! In the past, it was revealed that Seulgi tends to get energetic when she drinks, and videos of the idol while tipsy have been shared online.

Now, the Red Velvet member has revealed the people she drinks with nowadays.

On March 29, 2024, a screen recording of a fancall with Red Velvet's Seulgi was shared on the online social media platform X (formerly Twitter).

In the video, the fan recalls how they heard she and Irene went to drink whiskey together. However, what garnered attention was who the two Red Velvet members drank with.

It's none other than aespa's Karina and Winter!

While the fan asked how it happened that these four female idols got together to drink, Seulgi didn't spill much detail. Instead, she reveals that they drink together and often set up appointments for their drinking dates!

Many loved how close the Red Velvet seniors were to their aespa hoobaes. Fans joked that it was odd that such adorable girls were known as SM's "whiskey gang," and hoped to see more interactions between the two girl groups in the future!

Red Velvet Recent Activities

In March 2023, SM Entertainment announced the commencement of Red Velvet's fourth concert tour, R to V, scheduled to kick off in early April at the KSPO Dome in Seoul.

In August of the same year, SM confirmed the renewal of Seulgi's contract with the company, although the duration of the renewal was not disclosed.

In September 2023, SM announced that Red Velvet would be releasing their third studio album in November, marking their first Korean studio album release in six years since "Perfect Velvet" in 2017. The album features ten tracks, including the lead single bearing the same name.
