Chiquita is one of the youngest K-pop idols that is currently active. Born on February 17, 2009, the idol recently turned 15 years old. Despite her young age, Chiquita oozes charisma, stunning fans with her vocals and charming dance moves.
However, it appears some people forgot how young the idol is, and she is making sure they remember.

On April 2, 2024, a fan took to Weverse to post "Canny, sis, please marry me." Canny is one of Chiquita's nicknames, which was given to her by her mother when she was young.
Chiquita's response was short and sweet: she repeated the word "prison" or "jail" six times, stressing that asking for the female idol's hand in marriage is illegal because she is a minor.

The word also sounds like "cough" in Thai. This could also be Chiquita's response to the awkward atmosphere, which fans found highly amusing.
When Chiquita was first introduced to the public through YG Entertainment's "Last Evaluation," she was only 13 years old. While the majority of fans appreciated her for her skills and potential, that didn't stop a small minority of people from being creepy towards the young teen.

On April 1, 2024, BABYMONSTER made their official debut with their first extended play, "BABYMONS7ER," and its lead single, "SHEESH."
The album includes a re-recording of previous releases, "Batter Up" and "Stuck in the Middle," with all seven members, including Ahyeon, who was previously on a hiatus since November 2023 due to health reasons.
The album also contains a track titled "Like That," which was gifted to the YG Entertainment girl group by Charlie Puth.
