Korean netizens have named the four fourth-generation K-pop girl groups they think can sing live!
Did your fave group make it to the rankings?
Recently, live vocals have been a big issue in the K-pop industry. Several K-pop groups have come under fire for constantly lip-syncing or performing with shaky and unstable vocals. Some groups, such as LE SSERAFIM and ILLIT, have come under fire for being fourth- and fifth-gen leaders but showcasing shaky vocals.
However, the same cannot be said for their peers. Keep on reading to learn who was picked!
1. NMIXX
NMIXX has consistently been praised for their live vocals since their debut. Despite their difficult choreography, the members have placed substantial importance on their vocal ability, to the point that fans believe they do not need a backing track for any of their performances due to their stability.

Their encore stage for "DASH" earned the group major plus points among Korean netizens. People claimed it sounded as if they were listening to the digital version.
2. STAYC
STAYC is another girl group that earned praise for their live vocals. The group has always been considered a vocal-heavy group. While most K-pop groups have embraced choruses with little to no lyrics, STAYC's songs always have bright and melodic choruses that show off the girl group's vocals.
On top of that, when they sing live, it's as if they ate the CD, with how much they sound like the digital version! For their encore stage for "Bubble," the girl group drew praise for their vibrant personalities while singing flawlessly.
3. aespa
Trained under SM Entertainment, it's no surprise aespa is praised for their vocals. SM Entertainment has constantly been applauded for how they train vocalists, debuting powerhouse singers Taeyeon of Girls' Generation, Chen of EXO, Taeil of NCT, and more!
During aespa's encore stage for "Spicy," the members earned praise for sounding just like the original track. Winter and Ningning especially garnered praise for their honey vocals.
4. Kiss Of Life
While some may argue that Kiss of Life is a fifth-generation girl group, something that can't be denied is their talent. All the members were trained under Big 4 agencies and were extremely talented. Though they debuted under a small company, the group quickly made waves for their charisma and talents.
When the girl group performed at the 2023 K-Music Season Good Night Concert, Korean netizens were shocked by how well the group performed, despite how soft the background vocals were. Belle in particular shocked fans with her high notes, while Julie surprised with her fire rap!
