During a recent web show appearance, (G)I-DLE member Soyeon revealed which K-pop group she wants to work with!

Fans of (G)I-DLE are well aware of how talented she is. Not only is she a talented vocalist and rapper in (G)I-DLE, but she has been active as a soloist since 2017. She is also the creative director and main producer behind all of (G)I-DLE's work, showcasing just how versatile she is.

When asked if she wanted to work with or produce music for another K-pop group, Soyeon had an answer in mind right away! Keep on reading to find out who it is!

(G)I-DLE Soyeon Reveals She Wants To Work With ITZY

On April 24, 2024, Lee Chaeyeon released the 13th episode of her YouTube web show, "Inssadong Sulzzi." On this show, Chaeryeong invites celebrities, oftentimes her friends, to share a drink with her despite having a low tolerance for alcohol. For this episode, she invited (G)I-DLE's Soyeon, who is friends with Lee Chaeyeon.

As the girls drank and snacked on a charcuterie board, Lee Chaeyeon asked Soyeon if there was an artist she would like to produce for. Soyeon stated that she does have an artist she wants to work with and immediately named the JYP Entertainment girl group, ITZY!

Lee Chaeyeon appeared surprised by her answer, likely due to the fact that ITZY member Chaeryeong is her younger sister! She then asked Soyeon why she wanted to work with ITZY.

She stated that, in the past, she has collaborated with ITZY for a performance. In 2019, ITZY and (G)I-DLE teamed up to perform Beyonce's "Diva" at the MBC Gayo Daejejeon. Additionally, in 2020, Soyeon and ex-(G)-IDLE member Soojin teamed up with ITZY's Yeji and Ryujin and IZ*ONE's Yuri and Minju to perform Fifth Harmony's "Reflection" at the 2020 MBC Gayo Daejejeon.

While working with ITZY for these performances, Soyeon realized just how charming the members are and how much more they can show to the public.

Hearing this, Lee Chaeyeon nodded her head and jokingly responded, "Okay, I acknowledge you. You can work with them!"
