THIS 3rd-Gen Idol to Marry 15-Years Older Businessman + Announces Retirement from K-pop Scene

Following her marriage announcement, THIS 24-year-old female idol will retire from the entertainment scene.

On April 26, YTN reported that Sohee, a member of the girl group ALICE (formerly known as ELRIS) will tie the knot with her 15-years older fiancé.

Along with this, she will also permanently leave the K-pop scene once her contract with her agency expired.

According to the news, the third-gen idol will register her marriage with her fiancé in May, followed by a small wedding ceremony with her family and close friends within the year.

The groom is said to be a businessman who's 15 years older than her, and they decided to tie the knot after a year of dating.

Following this report, her agency, IOK Company confirmed the report and said:

"It is true that Sohee is marrying her boyfriend. Since she has decided to retire from the entertainment industry, her exclusive contract has also been finalized."

Upon her marriage, Sohee will also leave the entertainment scene, as she only has about a month left in her exclusive contract.

Rather than continuing her idol career, she has decided to focus on the "second act of her life" with marriage.

Meanwhile, Alice Sohee, born in 1999 and is 24 years old this year made her name familiar after winning the runner-up trophy in the SBS audition program "K-Pop Star 6," which aired in 2016.

She then debuted as a solo singer in May 2017 and rose to the K-pop scene even more when she debuted as a member of the girl group ALICE in June of the same year under Hunus Entertainment.

She established her position in the K-pop scene with her impressive singing and dancing skills, on top of her stunning visuals as well as strong leadership.

However, in 2021, she gave up her leadership role when the group transferred to their current agency, IOK Company, home to B.I.

At the same time, she decided to open her career as an actress, appearing in some works including, "Part-Time Idol," "Dali and the Cocky Prince," and "Duty After School," the drama that spread her popularity even more.

Despite the group's lack of activities and releases, her fame didn't decrease as her past videos and fancams were consistently being brought back on various online forums and platforms. Aside from her idol skills, she also gained praise for her legendary top beauty and physique.
