"Regarding his current condition, Renjun is now using his time to rest," SM shared. "We plan to consider his health and recovery as the top priorities."
The agency added, "We would also like to manage his future activities through flexible procedures, and we will make a separate announcement at a later date."
Eventually, SM Entertainment officially announced the temporary hiatus of Renjun, since the idol has decided to focus entirely on his recovery because of a worsening physical condition, alongside symptoms of anxiety.
"Renjun visited the hospital due to worsening physical health and anxiety symptoms," SM announced. "According to his results in the examination, he was advised by the doctor to rest."
SM followed, "As a result, Renjun will be unable to participate in the fanmeeting scheduled for April 20 and we will announce when he can return to his activities."
