During IVE's performance at Incheon National University, Ahn Yujin was seen scolding a male fan who was in the front row.
On May 7, IVE was one of the artists who performed at Incheon National University's music festival. The performance was riddled with controversy. While the group was praised for their live vocals and performance, students were upset at the amount of IVE fans who weren't from the university who attended and brandished around large cameras that blocked people's views.
However, it appears it wasn't a totally positive experience for the members.
Following the performance, one fan shared photos that showed Ahn Yujin interacting with a fan in the crowd. However, it wasn't a warm interaction. The idol had a serious expression on her face, and it appeared she was scolding the festivalgoer.

看了好幾個遠距離影片 發現好像台下的其中一個人讓🐶不太舒服 所以有了一系列🐰的護🐶行動出現 感覺🐶也滿不爽的 仁川大學真是…下次我們前面只開放女生站就好可以嗎? pic.twitter.com/GyPc53eiWu
In the video, she is seen looking closely at the male fan. She tilts her head squints her eyes, and points at him.
不想捕風捉影但仔細看開場問候那段真的很怪

It was noted that Jang Wonyoung was also seen glancing at the fan, and when she saw him, she had a serious expression on her face. However, Jang Wonyoung quickly turned away. The other members of IVE were also seen looking in that direction.
International fans were understandably enraged at the male fan, calling him out for making the members uncomfortable. Many praised Ahn Yujin for calling them out. It is believed that with his phone, the male fan was attempting to take videos of the members of IVE from inappropriate angles
One thing about IVE girls - they’re gonna make it super fucking clear if you cross a boundary. I hope Yujin is never afraid to single them out and call them on it.

While it is unsure whether or not the fan actually did so, fans agreed that the male fan's camera placement was strange. Many are hoping that Ahn Yujin and the other members of IVE did not feel disrespected during their performance at Incheon National University.
In other news, IVE made their much-anticipated comeback with their second extended play, "IVE SWITCH," on April 29, 2024. The mini-album contains six songs, including the lead single, "HEYA." The girls are scheduled to release the music video for the second single from the album, "Accendio," on May 15.
On April 29, 2024, IVE held a live stream event on YouTube to introduce DIVEs to their extended play, "IVE SWITCH," and the songs on the album. They also used the opportunity to connect with their fan base.
