BABYMONSTER member Rora sparked concern among fans after she sustained an injury during the group's fan meeting.
On May 11, BABYMONSTER held their first fan meeting of the year in Tokyo, Japan. Although it is BABYMONSTER's first overseas fan event, the YG Entertainment girl group knew just how to captivate the audience, proving they were trained well under the agency.
However, an accident happened on stage. Specifically, while the group was performing the song "Like That," Rora accidentally sustained an injury.
In videos of the performance, Rora is seen falling backward. She was unable to hide the pain, wincing. Despite that, the BABYMONSTER member still tried to maintain a professional mindset, standing up and performing as if nothing happened.
On social media, many netizens expressed their concern for Rora, who fell and rolled her ankle but still decided to continue performing. Many fans left comments of encouragement to the BABYMONSTER member, praising her for her professionalism despite being a rookie.
In other news, the girl group also experienced some technical difficulties during the event.
While dancing to a cover of BLACKPINK's "As If It's Your Last," the girl group encountered a problem with the music, as it suddenly turned off as they performed. Though they kept their cool, they couldn't hide their shock and disappointment when the sound was cut. Many noted the expressions of the members were adorable!
Right after that, the BABYMONSTER members sang the song live, showing off their top-notch vocal skills.
