Fans Concerned After ILLIT Wonhee Seen Reporting Comments During Group Livestream

Many are worried about the hate ILLIT is receiving after catching Wonhee reporting comments during the group's latest livestream.

On May 14, 2024, ILLIT sat down for a live stream to communicate with their fans on Weverse. During the livestream, Wonhee was seen sitting in the corner with the phone in front of her. For a large portion of the livestream, she was seen watching the comments from fans.

However, fans were quick to notice the sour expression on her face. She looked sad, with a serious expression on her face. Though she tried to interact with fans, her attention was mostly on the comments.

Eagle-eyed viewers noticed that the idol was seen reporting comments throughout the livestream. Fans believe she caught not one, but several hate comments targeted towards the girls and Wonhee. Instead of publicly replying to the hate, however, she silently reported the accounts so that they wouldn't spread more hate comments.

Fans felt sympathy that Wonhee chose to do this silently, without interrupting the members. It was also noted that Yunah made sure to read the positive comments the girls were receiving while Wonhee was reporting the hate comments.

What caused bigger heartbreak was the idol's reaction to a positive comment. She was seen reading the comments and loudly gasped when she saw a positive comment. Wonhee appeared genuinely shocked at the comment, looking up at the camera and shooting a finger heart at them.

Wonhee was born in 2007 and is only 16 years old. People are concerned about the long-term effects the hate comments could have on someone so young, and for someone who has been in the industry for less than two months. Many believe ILLIT and Wonhee should not be the target of hate, as the current drama involves adults in HYBE Labels. Korean netizens couldn't help but pity Wonhee.
