Netizens are currently reacting to Min Hee Jin's newest claims against HYBE.
On May 19, netizens flocked to an online discussion to converse regarding Min Hee Jin's statement against HYBE. The author also relayed a brief explanation to clarify the post's context.
"10 percent refers to adult entertainment establishments such as bars, clubs, norebangs (karaoke), and the manager's commission being 10 percent. They're not inherently illegal but some include hostess bars."
The author then relayed a report from a Korean news outlet. According to sources, ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin declared her side on May 19 and expressed, "I wanted to leave this corrupt industry countless times and HYBE has already put NewJeans in a difficult situation."
It was revealed that Min Hee Jin had replied to HYBE, which claimed that the ADOR CEO had plotted to take over the management alongside Naver and Upbit.
"I'm repeating myself, but if there's a need for clear verification about this, then I would like to request a four-party face-to-face meeting including HYBE," Min Hee Jin stated.
"Regardless of my intentions, everyone ended up gathering together," She added. "The gathering concluded as a personal meeting unrelated to investment, as the attendees were able to testify on the day."
"Before ADOR's establishment, they recklessly disclosed personal matters to the public and took the vice chairman's laptop without permission to find grounds for attacking me."
Min Hee Jin continued. "They also distributed an article claiming to protect the members despite engaging in such unreasonable and barbaric acts. It makes me wonder what the audit's real intention was."
Min Hee Jin added, "All the evidence HYBE presented was obtained illegally. I hope they move away from the frame that distorts facts with wordplay such as 'did you meet the investor or not?"
OP also shared an excerpt from Min Hee Jin's statement:
"Even if the investors met, what's the issue if the CEO or vice president of a company meets with the investor? Do the presidents of other HYBE subsidiaries suspect and accuse them of meeting with investors?
Are all those who entertain investors from the 10% and room salons for business deals thank them properly?" (Note: She's asking whether HYBE thanked the workers of the 10% and room salons when they meet investors)"
OP added:
"HYBE went as far as disclosing Min Hee Jin's personal family matters. So, it's only fair that she discloses that there are HYBE executives who frequented 10% and room salons. I hope she can reveal the KakaoTalk history for the past three years."
Here's how netizens reacted:
- "Yup, let's reveal everything."
- "They have released all of Min Hee Jin's private life's KakaoTalks, so reveal theirs too."
- "Reveal everything transparently."
- "Investigate them. They're the ones committing the disgusting acts, meanwhile, they're trying to cover everything using Min Heejin, they're the freaking worst."
- "I just know Hybe wishes they could go back in time and publicize the audit differently because this is a hot mess. MHJ is literally taking 'eye for an eye' very seriously."
