SEVENTEEN Jun Interaction With Rihanna Has CARATs Shook: 'Collab When?!'

SEVENTEEN member Jun's interaction with Rihanna is sending CARATs into a frenzy!

On May 20, 2024, Jun was spotted in Shanghai, China, to attend the pop-up event of the famous beauty and cosmetics brand, FENTY Beauty, which was created and founded by international superstar Rihanna. While it was a private event, those in attendance made sure to share several videos of the event online.

Of course, Jun made an appearance in several posts, as he was one of the many celebrities in attendance for the event. Other notable guests include former missA member Fei, influencer Marcelo Wang, and more.

The focus was on possible interactions between Jun and Rihanna. When the event started, there was some footage of Rihanna and Jun in the same shot, but they were not seen speaking to one another at that point.

However, in clips taken from later on in the night, Jun was seen seated at a table with other celebrities, including Rihanna! There, Rihanna is seen putting her thumbs up, to which Jun reacts with a smile. Many believed Rihanna was asking the SEVENTEEN member if he was all alright.

On May 21, a day after the event, Jun shared some photos on his Instagram to commemorate the special day. The male idol looked dapper in his all-black suit. As footage from the event was low-quality and shaky, CARATs were happy to take a proper look at his outfit.

However, it was the last photo in his post that sent fans into a frenzy!

In the last photo, Jun and Rihana are seen close to each other for a selfie! In the photo, the female singer is seen holding a copy of SEVENTEEN's new best compilation album, "BEST ALBUM 17 IS RIGHT HERE." Many did not expect Jun to have interacted so closely with the Western star, much less snap a selfie with her!

Many could not get over their unexpected interaction. Many joked that they were not anticipating a collaboration between SEVENTEEN and Rihanna. Others stated that this was a crossover they never expected to occur.

The album contains all of SEVENTEEN's Korean singles, as well as Korean versions of their Japanese releases.
