HYBE is facing immense criticism from TXT fans after the members were seen with poor health conditions during their tour.
Earlier this month (May), TXT kickstarted the U.S. leg of their world tour, "ACT: Promise." The boy group is scheduled to perform in eight cities, with a total of 11 concerts. As of writing, TXT has performed a concert in Tacoma and Oakland, and two shows in Los Angeles.
Concern started before the U.S. leg of the tour started. During performances in South Korea, leader Soobin reportedly looked unwell on stage. MOAs claimed that the idol even collapsed on stage after finishing their performance.
On May 18, Huening Kai held a livestream following the group's Oakland concert. During the stream, he confessed that he fainted right after the concert, sparking concern from fans.
On May 20, Taehyun held a live stream where he spoke about the physical and mental toll he took to prepare for the tour. He revealed that he was extremely sick, to the point that he was only able to sing a day before the rehearsal of a concert. This led him to feel frustrated and depressed and confessed that he cried alone in his room at night.
Yeonjun also revealed that Taehyun endured a 39-degree Celsius fever while practicing for the tour.
On May 21, Beomgyu suffered a nosebleed in the middle of TXT's concert in Los Angeles. The male idol was forced to leave the stage and returned with a tissue in his nose. While nosebleeds can occur for a variety of reasons and are often not a major source of concern, MOAs believe Beomgyu's nosebleed was caused by stress and exhaustion.
With four out of five TXT members suffering from poor health conditions, fans are demanding that HYBE take action. They believe the tour can be postponed until the members recover, or cancel the tour altogether.
As of writing, BIGHIT Music has not commented on the matter.
