After this, Karina talked about Coachella, and how she wants to go back.

"I was on the Coachella stage during the early days of my debut, but I was very disappointed because the preparation period was not that long. If I go again, I want to prepare harder and present a better image."

aespa became the third K-pop girl group to perform at Coachella. The group performing on April 23, 2022, as part of 88rising's Head in the Clouds Forever set for the second week. The girl group performed their hit songs "Savage," "Next Level," and "Black Mamba," as well as a then-unreleased English song titled "Life's Too Short."

Soon after the comeback showcase, a post, titled "The fact that aespa wants to go to Coachella again...", was shared with the well-known South Korean online community forum Nate Pann.

It was noted that the girl group received some scrutiny for wanting to go back to Coachella and wondered why. Coachella was aespa's first performance with an audience, and due to their nerves and lack of experience, they were unable to fully show their skills.

Now, they are more popular overseas and have honed their schools, so it makes sense that they want to go back and prove themselves.

Netizens who saw the post couldn't help but agree. Only a certain fandom is against aespa's return to Coachella, claiming LE SSERAFIM fans are still sensitive over the issues the girl group faced at the time.

People believe that aespa should be given a second chance at Coachella again. When they performed at the festival, they were rookies who debuted during the COVID-19 pandemic, so they must have been extremely nervous.

Now, they have four years of experience and are stable performers, meaning they will likely show a better performance.

Some comments read:

  • "Only people from 'that' fandom have something negative to say about this."
  • "For real, did you expect them to say, 'Ah... I don't want to go when the journalists ask them about it."
  • "For real, aespa were only rookies, and they debuted when COVID-19 started so imagine how nervous they are. They can now sing five full songs live with stability, so they should go to Coachella again."
  • "It's so obvious which fandom is boiling with rage right now. Aside from you guys, nobody is upset."
  • "I'm not even a fan, but even I feel regretful looking back at their performances."
