THIS K-pop Soloist Achieves Only 2 Album Sales on 1st Day: 'Not Even His Group Members Supported?'

After his hiatus for 3 years, this idiol and soloist sparked worries from fans for only selling 2 albums on the first day of release.

On May 28, singer Taeho made his return to the music scene after 2 years and 7 months. On this day, he released his 3rd single album along with the digital single, "For Your Brilliant Day," through various music sites.

The song flaunted the idol's powerful vocals while singing a cheering song with an addictive melody combined with a refreshing rock sound accompanied by a band arrangement.

The song is truly perfect for the summer, as the lyrics also give listeners positivity and warmth.

To kick off his active promotion of the digital single, he showcased his live vocal skills by participating in music shows including SBS's "The Show" and "MBC's "Show! Music Core" and "Show Champion."

Taeho also unveiled the physical album of his 3rd single album and while it attracted high interest at first, the album sales didn't exceed the expected result.

Normally, the first day should record the highest sales since fans would bulk buy to achieve high first-day sales.

But based on the Hanteo chart, Taeho only sold 2 album copies upon its release date on May 29th.

While it is expected to rise on the second day, he only achieved 15 sales on May 30th.

Fans were really saddened seeing this, and other K-pop fans also felt regret since the album is really good and it seemed like the singer also exerted a lot of effort and hard work to release a high-quality song and album.

This is also confusing since Taeho is not a rookie at all, but a K-pop star who started his career in 2016 after debuting as IMFACT.

They achieved decent success and Taeho also became notable for his impressive vocals especially after joining KBS's "The Unit" in 2017 and "Sing Again" in 2021.

Unfortunately, IMFACT left Star Empire in 2022 and although they haven't disbanded yet, they haven't had any new releases since 2020. After parting ways with his original agency Taeho signed with HAM to pursue his solo endeavors.

But seeing his performance, fans looked back that when he debuted as a soloist with "GGOMA," its performance wasn't as bad as his 3rd single album, wondering what happened.

Just then, Taeho's dedicated fans showed confused comments about where the sales came from when the singer only released a digital single.

Turns out, a lot of them weren't aware that he also released a physical copy!
