Min Hee Jin has responded to a journalist who claimed BTS, ILLIT, and LE SSERAFIM were harmed amid ADOR's legal battle with HYBE Labels.
During a press conference, ADOR's CEO Min Hee Jin gave a firm response to a question from a journalist.
The press conference was held by Min Hee Jin on May 31, 2024, at the Korea Press Center in Seoul, to discuss what happened at the ADOR emergency shareholder meeting that happened that morning.
During the Q&A session, a journalist asked Min Hee Jin, "It appears other idol groups have been hurt by this scandal. There are accusations that BTS is linked to a specific organization, and it appears groups like ILLIT and LE SSERAFIM have also been negatively affected. Is there anything you would like to say to them?"

During the conflict between HYBE and Min Hee Jin, BTS, and HYBE as a whole was accused of being affiliated with the Dahn World Cult. Though both HYBE and Dahn World denied the affiliations, several coincidences made the accusations hard to ignore and damaged BTS's reputation.
ILLIT earned the title "imitation group" after Min Hee Jin accused BELIFT Lab and HYBE Labels of copying NewJeans for ILLIT's debut. LE SSERAFIM, who was already facing backlash for their vocals during their Coachella performances, faced even more ridicule after Min Hee Jin revealed NewJeans's debut was delayed to make way for LE SSERAFIM's debut.
To the question, Min Hee Jin replied, "NewJeans has been hurt too. I think everyone has been hurt by this."
She then stated that she is also human, and believes other groups should stop being mentioned in reports. Min Hee Jin stated, "I am also human. One of our employees said something striking, 'People seem to think Min Hee Jin is not human.' But I am human, and so is everyone else, the members too. So rather than specifically addressing those people, I think we shouldn't mention it at all."
Min Hee Jin stated that reporters should stop mentioning other people to avoid hurt. She added, "In fact, if reporters and everyone else want to avoid causing more hurt, they should stop talking about this issue altogether. Just don't speak of it. But continually digging it up and questioning whether it hurts them is in itself hurtful. If we really care about those people, then we should stop mentioning them altogether."
She concluded by stating, "To heal the wounds, we need a compromise. We need to look for new solutions."
