The ongoing feud between HYBE and ADOR's CEO Min Hee Jin has sparked a new wave of protests; this time, it's centered around Pledis Entertainment, a subsidiary under the HYBE.
The fandom of the popular girl group fromis_9, known as FLOVERs, has taken to the streets and social media platforms a 3-day protest against alleged neglect and mistreatment by PLEDIS.
Since the appointment of Lee Da Hye as CEO of Pledis Entertainment in 2022, fans claim to have witnessed a stark decline in the support and promotion of fromis_9.
Flover Global Alliance, in an official notice released in both Korean and English, outlined their grievances, citing issues such as decreased frequency and quality of content uploads, unannounced comeback delays, poor support during album activities, neglect of overseas fandoms, and frequent reuse of stage outfits.
Utilizing hashtags such as #이다혜_플레디스_직무유기_해명해 (LeeDaHye_explain_dereliction_of_duty) and #플레디스_구체적인_활동계획_발표해 (PLEDIS_announce_detailed_promotions), Flover Global Alliance members have demanded transparency and accountability from both Lee Da Hye and PLEDIS.

Their demands include a detailed plan on how the CEO plans to support fromis_9, an explanation for the decrease in support since her appointment, and assurances that her ties to HYBE's chairman, Bang Si Hyuk, do not influence her decisions regarding the group.
"Fans were upset and couldn't understand why they were treating the group like this even when they had voiced how much they want to perform and make a comeback."
The protest intensified as PLEDIS' visual director recently resigned, further fueling speculation and dissatisfaction among fans.
The resignation has added to the tumult surrounding the company, with fans questioning the stability and direction of fromis_9's future endeavors.
As the three-day protest continues, both Lee Da Hye and PLEDIS Entertainment are under increasing pressure to address the concerns of the Flover Global Alliance and restore confidence in their support for fromis_9.
The outcome of these protests remains uncertain, but one thing is clear: Flover's dedication to advocating for the fair treatment of their beloved girl group shows no signs of wavering.
