Jeon Somi's Relationship With GOT7 Jinyoung Questioned After THIS Video — What Happened?
Jeon Somi and GOT7 Jinyoung's connection drew curiosity after the latter's random "appearance" in the female idol's video.
On TikTok, Jeon Somi recently uploaded a parody video of Doja Cat's version of Harry Styles' Watermelon Sugar." The global star performed it on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon's segment, "Musical Genre Challenge."
In the video, she flaunted her quirky and sassy personality eating noodles and sushi while lip-syncing the sound.

While viewers initially didn't find something odd in the video as it was just Somi being her usual funny self, one netter took to X to reveal that Jinyoung actually made his "appearance" in the video!
Watching it again, it can be seen that the hairbrush that Somi used as a mic actually has a Jinyoung's sticker stuck on it!
Immediately, K-pop fans questioned the relationship between the two idols, confused as to why would the female idol put the male star's face in her hairbrush.

There are people who immediately speculated that they might have been dating, leaving criticizing comments to Somi such as:
- "Jinyoung babe, I'll get you out there."
- "Why do I have to share my man with zionist?"
- "Free Jinyoung from this pro-Israel."
The comments were mostly negative, bringing back the time Somi "endorsed" Starbucks, which is a controversial brand being boycotted due to its reportedly support to Israel amid genocide in Gaza.
As Jinyoung's name is being linked to Jeon, Ahgases (GOT7 fandom) immediately clarified what happened and revealed that the sticker came from Jinyoung's fan union catering and coffee truck support when he was filming for the drama, "Devil Judge" aired in 2021.

It is indeed random, but Jeon Somi and Jinyoung actually share the same hairstylist and it seemed like that person put the sticker on the hairbrush that Somi is using.
Also, fans of both artists insisted that there's nothing to be questioned since the two are close friends, as Somi and Jinyoung used to be artists under the same agency, JYP Entertainment.
Even when they left the company, Jinyoung showed support to Somi by performing her solo song, "Fast Forward" while in the military. Somi also showed affection to GOT7 not only to Jinyoung but the other members by doing dance challenges and shows with them.
Meanwhile, Jeon Somi earned popularity after joining Mnet's "Produce 101" and debuting as the center of the girl group I.O.I.
When the team disbanded, Somi almost debuted in ITZY, but she left JYP and started her career as a soloist under THEBLACKLABEL led by Teddy Park.
She established success as a solo artist with her tracks, "DUMB DUMB," "XOXO," "Fast Forward" and more.
She also entered the beauty world by launching her cosmetics brand, "GLYF."
