In a firm response to increasing online harassment, ADOR has issued an official notice detailing their commitment to taking strong legal action against anyone targeting NewJeans.
The company has emphasized that they are actively monitoring various online communities for harmful comments, defamatory content, and the spread of false information about the group.
The notice highlights a noticeable rise in anonymous posts targeting NewJeans members, prompting ADOR to prepare both civil and criminal lawsuits against the perpetrators. The company has made it clear that no settlements or leniency will be offered to offenders.
"We are consistently monitoring various communities with regard to malicious comments, ill-intentioned viral marketing, slander, insults, and defamation by spreading groundless information about NewJeans," the notice states. "We are currently preparing legal action including civil and criminal lawsuits, and would also like to mention that no settlements or leniency will be extended to the perpetrators of such actions."
To assist in their efforts, ADOR has provided detailed instructions for fans to report any abusive activities. Fans are encouraged to submit reports of actions that infringe upon the rights of NewJeans to the official ADOR email hotline for legal affairs (protect@ador.world).
"We plan to use all possible means to track such posts on anonymous communities that are generally difficult to detect, and will take legal action accordingly," ADOR assured. "We ask you to report such activities, including malicious posts, to the official ADOR email hotline for legal affairs."
