GOT7 Bambam Reveals Reason Why He Unfollowed Girls’ Generation Taeyeon

GOT7 member Bambam has revealed the real reason why he chose to unfollow Girls' Generation's Taeyeon on Instagram.

On June 14, 2024, the latest episode of "Bam House" was uploaded to YouTube. For this episode, TWICE's Nayeon appeared as a guest. As they ate Thai food and bonded, Bambam was asked by staff why he unfollowed Taeyeon.

Hearing this question, Bambam revealed that he chose to unfollow Taeyeon so that he could focus on his tour!

The idol explained further, stating that he finds himself looking at Taeyeon's social media account. Since Taeyeon has started participating in TikTok challenges, he finds himself watching her content. Noticing how he was always on her account, Bambam chose to unfollow her right away so he could concentrate on his tour.

Hearing this, Nayeon expressed her disbelief, stating, "What the?!" She also commented that Taeyeon must be his ideal type for him to do all of that. Bambam stated that Taeyeon is not his ideal type, but she is someone who became the "standard" for him.

Soon after the episode aired, the clip of Bambam discussing why he unfollowed Taeyeon went viral on social media and South Korean online community forums. One viral tweet read, "Kids, do you also unfollow your bias when you need to concentrate during exam period? Bambam said that he had to focus on his tour, so he unfollowed Taeyeon on Instagram."

A post titled "Bambam revealing why he unfollowed Taeyeon on Instagram" was also uploaded to TheQoo, one of the most well-known South Korean online community forums.

In the post, people commented that Bambam was hilarious, while others claimed he was just like that. People noted how much he loves Taeyeon, stating that he even does more than actual K-pop fans and jokes about his one-sided love with the Girls' Generation member.
