However, the idol has sparked backlash and concern for something she revealed during a recent episode.
While in the car with other cast members, the topic of diets came up. There, Mijoo revealed that when she wakes up in the morning, she doesn't eat anything. In fact, it takes her several hours to finally eat something, meaning she works mostly with an empty stomach.
She revealed that she won't eat anything until 4 PM. When asked if she was being serious, Mijoo emphasized that she doesn't eat anything and only drinks water. When she finally comes around to eating at around 5 PM, the female idol will only order a salad.
The cast members expressed shock over this revelation. Even cast members who are known to be light eaters were shocked that she only ate one light meal a day.

While Mijoo is not the first idol to reveal the dangerous diet practices they use to maintain their figure, this didn't stop backlash from netizens following the reveal. They stated that young and impressionable viewers could hear this and decided to copy Mijoo's diet, which could lead to eating disorders or malnutrition.
Others wondered why this portion was allowed to air on national television, with many believing it should have been cut out to prevent others from copying Mijoo's diet.
Some, however, expressed concern for Mijoo's physical and mental health. She has always been skinny, and many wonder if she is pressured to maintain her figure due to her status as a femme fatale idol.
