KCON 2013: Largest K-Pop Festival in the U.S. Coming to L.A. on August 24-25

It was revealed that the Korean wave festival, 'KCON 2013' will be going to L.A. this August.

CJ E&M revealed that they will be bringing more diverse content to the festival and has decided to extend the event for another day. The event will be held at the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena on August 24-25.

This festival will have everything from Korean TV, culture, films, K-Pop, food, fashion, beauty and more for fans to experience.

An official also stated that this festival started due to the rising popularity of K-dramas and later spread to become more K-Pop oriented as well. They stated that the Korean culture has become a global trend due to K-Pop. 

This festival can be a stepping stone to expand Korean culture and contents. This year's festival has upgraded with more interactive programs that can help the fans and the stars to connect with one another.

Mnet "M! Countdown" will also be coming to L.A. as well.

This festival was a hit last year with many huge media such as Billboard and CNN covering the event.
