K-Media Highlights THIS K-pop Idol Who Could 'Rival' BLACKPINK Jisoo's Top-Tier Visuals
In an article, K-media featured THIS female idol with impeccable visuals that could "rival" Jisoo's top-notch appearance.
On July 12, the media outlet WikiTree recalled the almost "visual rivalry" of BLACKPINK Jisoo with another goddess-like idol — who is none other than (G)I-DLE Miyeon!
In particular, prior to joining (G)I-DLE, Miyeon is a popular former YG Entertainment trainee who is set to debut in BLACKPINK.
Since being scouted in her middle school, she trained with the other members for five years but due to unforeseen circumstances, Miyeon was cut off from the debut lineup and ended leaving the label.
At the time, she almost gave up on becoming an idol, but Cube Entertainment discovered her and successfully debuted as the main visuals and vocalist of (G)I-DLE in 2018.
Although BLACKPINK debuted as a 3rd-gen girl group while (G)I-DLE started the 4th-gen, there are still K-netizens thinking if what will be the difference if the two idols were launched in the same K-pop era, and under the same group.

Looking at their appearances, Jisoo and Miyeon give off similar pure and innocent beauty with soft puppy-like features.
Due to this, netizens reacted by saying things like:
"If Miyeon and Jisoo were in the same group, who would have been the main visual?"
Despite this question, the said "almost rivalry" between Jisoo and Miyeon is non-existent, given that both idols maintains a close relationship to this day.
Going back to Miyeon when she was introduced in 2018, she has been known by word of mouth among K-pop fans as a talented person with both visuals and vocals.
Her pre-debut photos went viral for her crazy visuals that embodies elegance and royalty. Whenever she's appearing in programs, her beauty alone can make her sit atop #1 real-time search rankings.
When she debuted, her fame arose even more due to her solid singing skills.

Due to these abilities, leader Soyeon has been putting efforts to let Miyeon shine both main visuals and vocalist. Often, she would give her the lines and parts that suits her voice and princess-like appearance.
Meanwhile, (G)I-DLE, the group to which Miyeon belongs released their 7th mini-album, "I SWAY" on July 8th and are continuing their active promotions with the title song "KLAXON." The public is looking forward to seeing what kind of legendary beauty Miyeon will show in this promotion.
