In an online community, K-netz argued if SNSD YoonA's beauty should really be considered a "legend of legends," then comparing her to other Korean celebrities. 

In Nate Pann, an internet user wrote an article featuring the K-pop icon with the title, "I feel like I will be cursed, but I don't know if YoonA is pretty enough to be praised as a legend."

The OP furthered that while YoonA is truly pretty and not ugly at all, they can't understand the hype of people calling her stuff like "goddess that will never be seen in the entertainment scene again."

The original poster then raised debate if she would receive the same treatment without her name attached to the iconic girl group, Girls' Generation. 

As soon as the article was posted, it amassed over 94k views with divided opinions about the idol.

In the comments, there are a lot of netters who agreed with the author and compared YoonA's visuals to other celebs. They also criticized her facial features & beauty points.

Here are some of the comments:

• "What should I say, she's really pretty and has a deer-type beauty, but she looks so dry she's like a branch of a tree."
• "Ah, I agree. Even in my opinion, YoonA is really pretty, but there are many women who look even prettier. I won't mention them, but anyway, I understand."
• "Personally, I think someone with looks like Suzy is the best."
• "I also thought that among the second generation of singers, Suzy and Sulli were the prettiest and that Nana was prettier than YoonA."

On the flip side, half of the commenters took YoonA's side and mocked the OP if they were new in K-pop. SONEs (fandom) left photos & GIFs recalling the legendary moments of YoonA where she flaunted her unrivaled looks.

They also emphasized that more than beauty, what made the star irreplaceable was her high-level skills and well-rounded personality.

In her 17 years of career, YoonA was never been embroiled in any negative issue, maintaining a good reputation among fans and K-media for about two decades. With or without the camera, she is consistent in doing good deeds beyond South Korea. 

Due to this, when people say top-notch appearance, they are referring not only to YoonA's external face but her internal beauty.
