NCT's Yuta is under intense scrutiny following remarks he made about fellow member Haechan during a recent content review.

The controversy emerged from a video where NCT members re-watched a performance of the group's hit stage, "Fire Truck."

During the content, Yuta recounted the rehearsals for the stage, specifically noting a sequence where other members lifted Haechan.Yuta revealed that he had advised Haechan against eating.

"There was a part where Haechan was lifted up, so I always told him not to eat. We had practiced to the point where I could tell Haechan's change in weight if he ate food. There, if he ate, I'd get really annoyed."

"Really don't want to be that person nor speak on Haechan's behalf but this isn't okay. He was a MINOR and I know South Korea has very strict standards but you as a teammate, and someone Haechan himself cares about, shouldn't really be going around proudly telling how you body-shamed him," one fan tweeted.
