aespa member Giselle shared a photo of a supposed tattoo, but fans are unsure if it's real.
On July 30, 2024, Giselle shared a series of photos on her Instagram. Among the images, there is one that garnered the most attention. The image shows Giselle lifting up her shirt to reveal a delicate flower tattoo on her waist. The photo soon went viral, causing many to wonder if the ink was real.
Fans quickly shared the photo to different social media platforms to theorize about the legitimacy of the tattoo, with some theorizing that it might just be a temporary tattoo. Others merely praised the design of the tattoo, while wondering whether the idol really got inked or not.
Following the release of the photo, Giselle held a live stream on social media following the group's fan meeting in Japan. The idol received many questions about her tattoo. However, rather than revealing whether the tattoo was real or not, Giselle responded with, "If I get a tattoo, would you guys like it? You guys will hate it, right? Or maybe you guys will like it? I don't know." Her playful response left fans even more curious about whether the tattoo was real or not.

During that livestream, Giselle shocked fans by revealing she actually got a tattoo before! She revealed that she got a tattoo on the inside of her lip. However, fans will not be able to see the ink, with the idol revealing, "But I have a habit of moving my lips a lot, so it went away quickly by itself."
The fact that she had gotten a tattoo in the past has fans believing her Instagram post featured a real tattoo. Though the idol did not confirm whether or not the tattoo is real, her coy attitude has left fans excited for the inevitable reveal. For now, fans will have to wait and see if Giselle would want to provide any further hints about the legitimacy of her tattoo.
