K-pop girl group fromis_9 finally announced their comeback plans by releasing numerous concept photos for "Supersonic." However, the "poor quality" of the photos was raised by outraged flovers, who also criticized PLEDIS Entertainment.
Among the fourth-gen K-pop acts, fromis_9 is also a household name in the K-pop industry. Their prominence has been consistently proved by their bop releases, stable fanbase, and star power. However, fans have seen a lack of comebacks from the girl group.

Fans were showered with good news on July 18, when fromis_9 surprised netizens with the first teaser for their upcoming single album "Supersonic." The album is scheduled to be released on August 12 at 6 p.m., KST.
The first teaser was followed by a promotion scheduler and tracklist, which created more hype regarding the group's comeback. Eventually, fromis_9 fueled the anticipation with their group and individual concept photos for "Supersonic."

Unfortunately, despite the ecstatic reactions of eager flovers, many have voiced out their anger towards PLEDIS Entertainment due to the quality of the photos. Fans pointed out that the photos were also indicators of the agency's mistreatment.
In other news, PLEDIS was criticized by netizens for fromis_9's alleged unpaid salaries. On May 20, Korean news outlet MyDaily disclosed the reactions of fans and fromis_9 Park Jiwon's salary remark during the group's Weverse livestream.
