DAY6 Performance At Pentaport Rock Festival Draws Major Backlash: 'Why Are They So Bad?'

DAY6's hour-long set at the Pentaport Rock Festival has garnered immense backlash.

On August 4, 2024, DAY6 performed as a sub-headliner at the 2024 Pentaport Rock Festival in South Korea. Though fans were excited to see the JYP Entertainment band perform, their performance fell flat and garnered heat from South Korean netizens.

In the post, the author noted that the group made several mistakes during their set, such as singing the wrong lyrics and not matching the correct pitch.

Additionally, they made mistakes with the instrumentals, and the set list left more to be desired.

It was noted that ever since they released their mini-album "FOUREVER" in March, the group has had non-stop activities, such as concerts, variety shows, and other schedules. Fans were able to see how their busy schedules took a toll on their condition. Still, since they have activities lined up, fans hope that they get to practice more to showcase their skills.

Korean netizens, on the other hand, were much harsher on the group. They noted how this is not the first time DAY6 has forgotten their own lyrics, which means it isn't a mistake they can overlook anymore. Many wondered what had happened to DAY6, and commented on how bad their singing was on this day.

Many netizens asked fans to stop defending the group. They pointed out that in the comment section of their performance on YouTube, they are being slammed for their subpar performance due to the numerous mistakes made during the set. Some people who had attended the festival commented that although it was an overall enjoyable experience, there was an air of tension every time the group made a mistake.
