Moka has reportedly suffered a leg injury, according to BELIFT LAB. As a result, the idol will perform while sitting in upcoming music events. Fans have voiced concerns with HYBE and pointed out the increase in injured HYBE idols over the past few months.
On August 9, BELIFT LAB released an official statement on Weverse announcing Moka's health condition and participation. According to the agency, Moka sustained a leg muscle injury and was advised to rest by medical professionals.
The agency also discussed her participation in ILLIT's upcoming performances for "MUSIC EXPO" and "Music Core," where the idol would be performing while seated. BELIFT then assured fans that Moka's health would be prioritized.
The statement added that the company would manage Moka's schedule flexibly and support her recovery. Read the full statement below: :
"Hello. This is BELIFT LAB.
We want to give you an update regarding Moka's upcoming schedule. This week, Moka suffered from a leg muscle injury, and she was advised by medical staff to rest.
She will participate in MUSIC EXPO on August 11 and Show! Music Core on August 12, but will remain seated on stage and will not be performing the choreography. We would also like to ask for your kind understanding.
BELIFT LAB will prioritize the advice from medical professionals and put the artist's recovery above all else. We plan to manage Moka's schedule in a flexible manner. The company will do its best to help Moka in her recovery and return in good health.
