Kim Sung Kyu Back to Kuala Lumpur After 11 Years, for [LV:3 Let's Vacay] Asia Tour

Kuala Lumpur, 11th August 2024 - The 2024 Kim Sung Kyu [LV:3 Let's Vacay] Asia Tour in Kuala Lumpur, organized by D-SHOW and promoted by Offbeat and 43, successfully concluded its two-day run last night and this afternoon at Zepp Kuala Lumpur.

When Kim Sung Kyu appeared on stage, he was met with enthusiastic cheers from INSPIRITs, the official fanbase of his group, INFINITE. He greeted the audience in Malay, saying, "Apa khabar semua, saya Kim Sung Kyu!" immediately after performing three opening songs.

This concert marked Sung Kyu's debut solo performance in Malaysia. He stated, "It's been a long time since INFINITE last performed in Malaysia, and I'm so happy to finally see my fans here again!" He also mentioned that he had enjoyed a restful night before the show and had tried the popular Malaysian dish, Nasi Lemak.

During his performance of his first solo track, "41th," fans expressed their excitement, shouting, "We love it!" Sung Kyu continued to engage the audience with his performances of other hits such as "Climax," "It Will Be," "Jump," "Go Again," "Kontrol," and "Sorry," which were well-received by the crowd.

As he performed "Small Talk" and "60sec," fans sang along to the chorus, leading Sung Kyu to give them a thumbs up and praise their singing, saying, "You sang so well, I'm really surprised!" The fans responded proudly with, "Malaysia Boleh!"

Sung Kyu, who has also participated in several musicals, asked the audience if any of them had seen his performances, to which some fans responded affirmatively, even mentioning that they had traveled to South Korea to support him.

When fans requested a reunion of INFINITE for a future show in Malaysia, Sung Kyu's promise to return with the group sparked immediate excitement. As he announced, "This is the last song for today," fans responded with shouts of "No!" With visible emotion, he said, "It's been more than 10 years since I last came to Malaysia, but you know, I've always been with you. So much has happened in these 10 years - I've cried and laughed. Thank you for always supporting me. I love you!" The concert concluded with encore performances of "Kontrol," "My Everyday Is You," "답가," and "끌림."
