BLACKPINK Lisa's Photo Gets Bombarded With Comments Asking for TWICE Dahyun – What Happened?
On Instagram, BLACKPINK Lisa's photo was randomly flooded with comments of TWICE Dahyun's name. Here's what happened.

On August 14, Michael Kors made an appreciation post to BLACKPINK Lisa as she donned a sequined cashmere hoodie from the luxury brand for her ELLE USA pictorial.
The brand wrote:
"Laid-back luxury. Blackpink's Lisa wears a sequined cashmere hoodie from the Fall/Winter 2024 Michael Kors Collection runway for her@ElleUSA cover shoot. #MichaelKorsCollection

Upon posting, it amassed thousands of likes and rave feedback from BLINKs and Lilies, praising the beauty of the global K-pop star. Her supporters also expressed gratitude to the luxury brand for preparing an outfit fitting the idol's elegant and classy image.

However, as fans scrolled down deeper into the comments, a noticeable amount of ONCEs (TWICE fans) bombarded the post with messages asking for Dahyun.

- "Nobody wants Lisa, we want Dahyun."
- "Dahyun is the best, cry harder BLINKs."
- "Dahyun is the best."
- "Dahyun, best ambassador."
Apparently, ONCEs were venting their discontent and frustration to Michael Kors for flexing the BLACKPINK member on its official Instagram.
Despite Dahyun being the official brand ambassador of Michael Kors, she was rarely posted on their SNS, and the last post about her was made in June.
Some ONCEs also targeted BLACKPINK Lisa by arguing that Dahyun is the better brand representative, and Michael Kors should focus solely on promoting the TWICE member.
BLINKs and Lilies then defended Lisa with responses:
- "The comment, lol. So much jealousy. They just posted the photo of Lisa and they got panicked about their idol."
- "My queen just wore a brand and got some people panicking."
- "Dahyun fans flop crying and obsessed with her."
- "She is the best and the rest are jealous of her. Let's agree that Lisa is a golden ticket to K-pop."
Meanwhile, on Aug. 12, ELLE USA revealed Lisa as the cover of its September 2024 issue. On its SNS, they showed the star's pictorial cuts, establishing her position as the first K-pop solo artist to grace the cover of an American magazine.
In her released photos, Lisa stood out for her gorgeous visuals as she wore simple yet elegant ensembles.
A snippet of her interview with the magazine was also released, where she talked about her career as a soloist, as well as her thoughts on debuting as an actress through the American HBO series, "The White Lotus" Season 3.
