DAY6 is currently trending for their exposure, comeback, and newest feat. The band's new achievement also sparked reactions online. 

On September 4, Korean news outlet JoyNews24 released an exclusive report stating that DAY6 is about to hold a concert at the Gocheok Sky Dome in December. The reports also drew the attention of JYP Entertainment, which confirmed the news.

"DAY6 is planning to perform at the Gocheok Sky Dome by the end of the year," JYP Entertainment shared with Newsen. "We will announce the specific schedule at a later time."

Debuting in 2015, DAY6 has come a long way since their introduction to the Korean music industry, gradually increasing the capacity of their concert arenas. Popular overseas bands such as Metallica (2017), Maroon 5 (2019), U2 (2019), and Queen (2020) have performed at the dome, and DAY6 is set to become the first Korean band to do so.

Earlier on September 2, DAY6 finally released its ninth mini album "Band Aid" and its title track "Melt Down." Immediately after its release, the song took the reins in domestic music charts. "Melt Down" led DAY6 to earn their first-ever Real-Time All-Kill (RAK) achievement, as the song hit first place in other charts such as Genie, Bugs, Vibe, MelOn, and more.
