Where Is Jung Jinhyeong Now? Ex-YG Trainee Who Had Dating Rumor With (G)I-DLE Miyeon
Miyeon rose to stardom as (G)I-DLE after leaving YG. But whatever happened to Jung Jinhyeong, her rumored ex-boyfriend?

On Sept. 22nd, soloist Jung Jinhyeong drew attention after announcing his marriage to Japanese model and actress Mayu Kitazawa. On Instagram, the couple revealed the news by uploading their pre-nup photos and they both received warm congratulations from K-pop fans and netizens.
Jinhyeong, hereinafter JEY, first made his name familiar in the music scene as a former YG Entertainment trainee. He joined the survival program "Mix & Match," the same show that created iKON.
After failing to join the final lineup, he made his solo debut under SFR Ent in 2017 and is now under ALFHA, a label he founded in 2022.
Upon JEY's wedding announcement, his past dating rumor was revisited, where he was once linked to (G)I-DLE Miyeon.
Prior to joining the Cube's girl group, Miyeon was reportedly preparing to debut as one of BLACKPINK's members. While it was said that she was naturally excluded from the final team, speculations insisted that it was because she was caught being in a relationship amid YG's dating ban.

In 2015, a year before BLACKPINK's launch, photos of Miyeon with Jung Jinhyeong were captured and spread online. Eyewitnesses claimed they were dating and traveled to Japan together when she was 18 years old. Despite numerous suspicions, this was never addressed by either the label or the artists.
Regardless, their leaving YG both worked for Miyeon and Jinhyeong, with the female idol becoming a top K-pop star through (G)I-DLE and JEY meeting his lifetime partner as he established a position in the K-hip-hop field.
