BLACKPINK Lisa will release her new single on the 4th, and K-pop fans are claiming Frédéric was the reference for it.
On Sept. 29th, Lisa appeared at the large-scale charity concert, "Global Citizen Festival," held in New York's Central Park.
The soloist headlined the show along with Post Malone, Doja Cat, and more, where she performed her hits, "Lalisa," "Money," "Rockstar," and "New Woman."
In particular, she caught the viewers' attention even more by revealing a special stage for the unreleased song, "Moonlit Floor," which will be officially dropped on October 4. The song samples Sixpence None the Richer's "Kiss Me," drawing rave reviews.
However, the reason it garnered attention was due to K-pop fans' speculation that Lisa referenced Frédéric, her rumored boyfriend. This claim came from the lyrics, "That green-eyed French boy tripped me up," and since Arnault is a French businessman, the rumor spread like wildfire.
In the past, they have been spotted dating and traveling in various countries and were embroiled in numerous dating speculations. Despite that, the said couple chose to stay silent and it seemed like Lisa indirectly confirmed it by releasing the song.
Some fans are happy about her love life, but the majority of Lisa's supporters are against her dating Arnault, who came from a family with an infamous and wealthy background. In a thread on X, a netter explained how his family, the owner of LVHM supports Israel, calling them Zionists.
