Rookie K-pop group POW has clinched a rare chance to work with the multi-awarded pop-punk singer-songwriter Avril Lavigne!
On October 10, it was announced that the boy group will drop their track "Boyfriend," a reinterpretation of Lavigne's hit "Girlfriend," which was released in 2007.
The report detailed that the K-pop group's song was created with the help of Lavigne herself, alongside original and new songwriters.

Following the announcement, POW's fans are losing grip on social media and began praising the K-pop group for such an exciting collaboration.

POW is GRID Entertainment's first-ever group, comprising five members: Jungbin, Yorch, Hong, Hyunbin, and Dongyeon.
They unveiled their pre-debut song "Favorite" on September 13, 2023, and debuted in October with the EP of the same name.
