Ever since Seunghan's departure was announced, the news left the K-pop community divided. The news increased to a boiling point, where BRIIZEs and other K-pop fandoms took a stand against SM Entertainment. In a new update, K-pop stores also expressed their stance.
According to numerous posts on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), many K-pop stores worldwide seemed to join the boycott. Apart from not streaming their releases or dodging the brands RIIZE was signed with, it also involves avoiding purchases of their merch or albums.
BRIIZEs shared their take regarding the boycott, with many supporting the act.
