NewJeans became a hot topic in a forum due to their latest pictorial with VOGUE Korea.
Ever since the members announced the termination of their exclusive contracts with ADOR, the decision to stray away from the company resulted in consequences that affected their promotional activities, music production, and more.
Slews of the girl group's schedules have been canceled, including a photo shoot with VOGUE, which trended on social media on December 17. The photos, since uploaded by the magazine, feature each of the girls sporting traditional Korean hanbok.
Some fans noticed the magazine's usage of their individual names instead of the ADOR-owned group name "NewJeans."
On X (formerly Twitter), some fans noticed how the magazine's social media posts advertising the editorial avoided tagging the accounts of NewJeans and ADOR. Some fans took this opportunity to thank VOGUE for making an effort to accommodate the girls and promote their photos.
"Is this the VOGUE shoot that supposedly got cancelled? LMAO," one Bunny remarked.
"The VOGUE Korea spread is ADOR-free? They didn't tag NewJeans' IG," another pointed out. "Maybe this is why Hanni did this?"
Another commented, "ILY VOGUE Korea thank you for these feasts we're supposed to be denied."
