A social worker director has vindicated WINNER's Mino, who is currently under fire due to accusations of falsifying his military service attendance records.
The manager of Mino's assigned workplace, the Mapo Community Center, revealed that the idol had not received preferential treatment as he is currently being investigated by the Military Manpower Administration, Star News reported.
"I saw (Song) Mino once a day. I checked if he came to work and got his signature," they said.

"Of course, since I'm not the only one managing Mino, I may not have checked in the morning when I was busy. The Military Manpower Administration is checking that part through CCTV."
The director added that the allegations against Mino falsifying his records were untrue and revealed that the idol had received recommendations to be discharged from service following a diagnosis that he was "unfit" to serve.
Mino had received a Grade 4 supplementary service rating during his physical examination, and was known to have been receiving treatment for panic and bipolar disorders.
Upon his diagnosis, the director revealed that he'd urged the idol to accept an early discharge due to his condition.
"Song Mino refused and said that he would endure it somehow. He said he had to complete the service before he gets discharged," they said.
As a result, the idol took two consecutive paid sick leaves to recuperate.
"It's hard for him to even lead a normal life. His condition goes from high to low in cycles. The situation got worse in February and April," they said.
They added that they'd heard the idol remains psychologically unwell and is still hospitalized.
