Stray Kids is ending the year 2024 by shattering a new Billboard following the release of their album SKZHOP HIPTAPE, HOP.
On Dec. 13, Stray Kids released their newest title track "Walkin On Water," alongside songs "Bounce Back" and "U (feat. TABLO)."
STAYs also received solo tracks from the members such as Bang Chan's "Railway," Felix's "Unfair," I.N's "HALLUCINATION," Lee Know's "Youth," Hyunjin's "So Good," Changbin's "ULTRA," Han's "Hold My Hand," and Seungmin's "As We Are."
Following its release, the album immediately debuted on the Billboard 200, earning Stray Kids a new historic record. On Dec. 22, Billboard reported that HOP has officially made its first entry at No. 1, which also marks the group's sixth consecutive entry to debut in first place on the Top 200 albums.

Stray Kids have previously lined up five first places on the Billboard 200 with ATE, ROCKSTAR, 5-STAR, MAXIDENT, and ODDINARY.
With HOP now being the group's sixth album to accomplish this, the octet has now tied with BTS in this feat, placing the act in the camp of Linkin Park and Dave Matthews Band as one of the groups with the most #1 entries in the 2000s.
Data platform Luminate also shared that HOP has garnered 187,000 equivalent album units, which was broken down to 176,000 traditional sales, 14.83 million on-demand streams, and 1,000 track equivalent album units.
On YouTube, Stray Kids' official music video for Walkin On Water currently garners over 26.4 million views as of Dec. 23.
