BTS' J-Hope Donates 100 Million Won to Families of Jeju Air Crash Victims, Hints at BTS Comeback

BTS' J-Hope has made a donation of 100 million won (about $68,000) to the families of the victims of the Jeju Air plane crash.

The contribution was delivered through the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association, of which the idol is a member.

"Upon hearing the news of the accident, I decided to make this donation to help the bereaved families as much as I can," J-Hope said in a statement on Thursday.

"I offer my deepest condolences and comfort to the bereaved families and everyone affected by this tragedy. My heart goes out to those enduring this unimaginable pain."

J-Hope completed his mandatory military service in October, following his enlistment in April 2023 to complete his compulsory service.

The BTS main dancer is expected to hold a solo concert to mark his return to the stage at the KSPO Dome in Seoul at the end of February.

BTS is expected to return in full force as a group in 2025, with J-Hope dropping hints that the group will make a comeback this year.

"When we are all back together as a group, it's going to have a huge impact," J-Hope said in an interview with Weverse Magazine on Christmas Eve.

"I want to come back in style and say, 'This is us; this is BTS. I can't speak for everyone, but I can tell you the other members feel the same way. What hasn't changed is that I really, really love to do it."
