A Korean news outlet has announced that BLACKPINK will make a comeback as a group in 2025.
On top of a full album, the outlet announced that the group will reportedly embark on a world tour spanning North America, Europe, and Asia.
"After two years of individual activities, BLACKPINK will once again captivate their global fandom with a new album release in May and a world tour spanning Asia, North America, and Europe," reported Asiae on Thursday.

"Jennie and Lisa's unique solo activities have already been very successful, and Rosé swept the top of various global charts with "APT.," gaining syndrome-level popularity."
The news has yet to be confirmed by BLACKPINK's label, YG Entertainment.
The girl group's last full comeback, their second studio album Born Pink, was released in September 2022.
Since then, each member of BLACKPINK has renewed their group contract with YG Entertainment but has departed from individual activities, creating their own labels to manage themselves solo.
Rosé formed The Black Label, a subsidiary of YG, and signed a deal with Atlantic Records, Jennie founded the label Odd Atelier and opted for Columbia Records, Lisa created the agency LLOUD and has a partnership with RCA Records, and Jisoo opted to promote solo activities under her brother's agency, forming her label Blissoo in the meanwhile.
