Earlier on Dec. 24, Dispatch released an exposé regarding WINNER member Song Mino, who has been alleged to have "poor performance" in his duties as a public service worker. The report included the idol's instances of allegedly neglecting his responsibilities and manipulating his attendance.
This was immediately followed by a statement from his agency YG Entertainment, saying how the idol's situation at the Mapo Resident Convenience Facility was difficult to verify.
However, it assured that Mino's frequent sick and annual leaves cited in the report were used in accordance with policies, and the reason for these leaves was just an "extension" of the treatment the idol had been getting prior to starting his service.

Following this controversy concerning negligent behavior, Mino caught backlash from netizens. This became more apparent on Jan. 5, when Korean netizens gathered in a community forum titled, Winner's Korean Fans' Truck Protest Regarding Song Mino in Front of YG.
The author posted two images showing a protest truck insisting that WINNER is a three-membered act excluding Mino. The demand stated how the agency must guarantee the group activities of WINNER members Jinu, Hoony, and Yoon.
The truck also called out YG's unresponsiveness and that the agency must cooperate. It stated, "YG, state your intention to cooperate with the investigation responsibly and don't remain silent."
Another demand said, "We demand OT3's protection from false facts that are piling up due to YG's non-compliance."
While none of the statements specifically mentioned Mino, the absence of his name in any of the demands implied the truck's intention to call out Mino for his controversy and isolate him from the rest of the group.
