Red Velvet's Wendy is the latest idol to drop out of SM Entertainment's 30th anniversary concert.

The online ticket reservation site Melon Ticket announced the change in lineup for "SMTOWN LIVE 2025 in SEOUL" on January 6.

"Red Velvet's Wendy will not be appearing at SMTOWN LIVE 2025 in SEOUL for personal reasons," the announcement stated.

"We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the change in cast. Cancellations and refunds for this reason can be made without a cancellation fee by contacting the ticket reservation site's customer service center."

Wendy's cancelation follows in the footsteps of Girls' Generation's Taeyeon, who announced to fans her plans to drop out of the concert in a live stream before officially announcing the move through the label.

The SMTown concert, set to take place at Seoul's Gocheok Sky Dome, will be held on January 11 and 12.

The lineup features all SM artists, including Kangta, BoA, TVXQ, Super Junior, Girls' Generation's Hyoyeon, SHINee's Key and Minho, EXO's Suho and Chanyeol, Red Velvet (excluding Wendy), NCT 127, NCT DREAM, WayV, aespa, RISE, NCT WISH, nævis, and Raiden.

In addition, SMTR25, a group of 25 trainees, Mar Vista, SM Jazz Trio, Min Ji Woon, and other artists from SM's subsidiary labels will also perform, as well as some SMTOWN Family artists who have been with SM for nearly three decades.
