As 2025 kicks off, the millennials born in 1995 will be hitting their 30s. Among male idols, these third-gen K-pop stars—who are the "maknaes," or the youngest in their respective groups—will reach the milestone soon, tugging at the heartstrings of fans who have lovingly watched these idols' journeys unfold from their youth to stardom.
Here are seven '95-born maknaes who will turn 30 years young in 2025:

Ren originally debuted as a member of the boy group NU'EST in 2012 when he was 16.
When the group disbanded in 2022, he focused on his solo career until he entered the military in September last year.
BTOB's Sungjae
In 2012, the idol debuted as the maknae of BTOB when he was also 16 years old.
He is doted on by the team and Melodys (fans) for his vibrant and hilarious personality. On May 2, he will celebrate his 30th.
Day6's Dowoon
Day6 initially debuted in 2013 under the name 5LIVE, but it was changed to Day6 when Dowoon was added as its sixth member and drummer in 2015 when he was 20 years old.
Currently, the band heralds the continuation of Day6's world tour, FOREVER YOUNG, in February.
Teen Top's Changjo
In 2010, Changjo made his debut in the second-gen boy group Teen Top when he was only 14 years old. Although the remaining members after L.Joe and C.A.P left the team and transferred to different labels, the quartet attested to fans that they would not disband.
BF's No Minwoo
Originally known as BOYFRIEND in 2011, the group disbanded in 2019.
In 2021, the group re-debuted with its new stage name BF, with No Minwoo as their maknae.
He initially debuted when he was 15, and he will turn 30 years old on July 31.
Former Topp Dogg/Xeno-T's Yano
In 2013, Yano was first promoted under his group Topp Dogg until they had a reformation and became XENO-T in 2018. Unfortunately, they disbanded two years after the name change.
Boys Republic's Suwoong
In 2013, Suwoong debuted as a member of Universal Music's first idol group managed by Happy Tribe Entertainment. But after five years of promotion, the act decided to have an indefinite hiatus despite not having disbanded yet.
