Taeyeon is about to go on tour this 2025, and while SONEs are excited, some are still mad about SM Entertainment's latest "incompetence" in handling the idol's stage for SMTOWN Live 2025.
On Jan. 7, SM Entertainment announced the details for Taeyeon's upcoming concert, titled The TENSE. The announcement, which was made on platforms Weverse and X (formerly Twitter), included a total of eight concert stops across Asia.
The tour will kickstart at the KSPO Dome, in Seoul, from March 7-9. This will be followed by Taipei (March 16), Manila (March 29), Jakarta (April 12), Macau (April 26), Singapore (May 3-4), Bangkok (May 31-June 1), and Hong Kong (June 7).

The announcement came after the news of Taeyeon's Bubble message calling out SM's mismanagement. The annual SMTOWN LIVE is one of the most anticipated music events by fans, given how they'll bear witness to their favorite SM artists giving energetic performances and special stages.
However, Taeyeon, alongside her junior and fellow Got the Beat bandmate, Wendy of Red Velvet, apologized to their fans for being unable to appear at the music event. In the case of Taeyeon, the INVU singer hinted that her absence in SMTOWN Live was the fault of her company.
Taeyeon explained that she wanted to perform at the event with two or three songs and instructed SM to prepare, but unfortunately, her request wasn't granted.
"They weren't able to make the preparations so due to it, I ended up not being able to do it at all," Taeyeon stated.
Despite the announcement of Taeyeon's concert, some fans expressed frustration towards SM and stated that this was the company's way of doing damage control after its mishap.
