KICKFLIP Members: Names, Age, Everything You Need To Know About JYP Entertainment's New Boy Group

Following Nexz's debut last year, JYP Entertainment will launch a new boy group in the first half of 2025.

KICKFLIP, comprising seven members, will be making their official entry in the music scene on January 20 with their first mini-album, "Flip it, Kick it."

On January 6, they also pre-released the music video for their B-side track, "Umm, Great."

The group's name KICKFLIP is a term referring to the difficult technique of spinning the skating board 360 degrees with the tip of the foot, as per Newspim.

All seven members have been unveiled on various social media platforms through their concept images, dance practice videos, and introductory clips.

Meet the KICKFLIP Members:

Kyehoon

Position: Leader
Birthday: September 16, 2004
Nationality: Korean

Before joining KICKFLIP, Kyehoon entered the company after winning first place in JYP's open audition in 2016. He will finally debut as an idol after nearly a decade of being a trainee.

Amaru

Birthday: October 21, 2005
Nationality: Japanese

Despite the language barrier, Amaru, who hails from Japan, revealed that it has never been an obstacle for him to pursue his love for writing lyrics — and this shows his potential to become the lyricist of the team.

Donghwa

Birthday: March 11, 2006
Nationality: Korean

Donghwa shared that music, dancing, singing, and fashion are his medium to show "myself." He is also fond of vintage items.

"I like them because they have traces of time, are unique, and are uncommon. Our team also has a bit of a vintage feel," said the young idol.

Juwang

Birthday: May 2, 2006
Nationality: Korean

Juwang, who loves ballads as he feels at ease when listening to them, wants to become an artist who can provide relaxation to others.

Minje

Birthday: May 12, 2006
Nationality: Korean

"I'm excited and nervous at the same time because I can stand on a stage that I've only imagined," said Minje, who was a trainee under JYP for four years before joining KICKFLIP.

Keiju

Birthday: October 4, 2006
Nationality: Japanese

Keiju, who has a bouncy confidence, teases his dance skills and image which changes when the music starts.

Donghyeon

Position: Maknae
Birthday: March 13, 2007
Nationality: Korean

Although Donghyeon is the youngest, he shows confidence by claiming that his unique weapon is practicing like crazy.
