ROSÉ and Bruno Mars' "APT." has achieved a feat previously only held by supergroup BTS with their song "Dynamite."
"APT." has climbed into the top five of Billboard's Pop Airplay chart, a 40-song chart published weekly that tracks the most popular songs of pop music on over 150 mainstream top 40 radio stations monitored by Mediabase, with data provided to Billboard by Luminate.
"APT." ascends two spots into the chart's top five on the latest weekly chart from January 18, marking an achievement that K-pop hasn't seen since BTS' "Dynamite" peaked at number five in December 2020.
The feat also marks the first Pop Airplay chart entry for ROSÉ with her solo music, as BLACKPINK previously charted two songs, with a #21 best.
Only five K-pop hits have ever climbed to the Pop Airplay top 10, with PSY's "Gangnam Style" kicking off the succession in 2021. "Gangnam Style" and "APT." are the only tracks to achieve the record under solo artists.
