Group 2NE1 talked about their contract period with their agency YG Entertainment.

In YTN "Newsin" aired today, girl group 2NE1 came out as guests.

The reporter asked 2NE1's leader CL, "Have you heard of the 5-year jinx? I heard many groups break up when it hits their 5th year" and CL replied, "That's probably because of the contract period."

When she was asked about 2NE1's contract period, she said, "We can't reveal that but we still have some time left so I think our team will last long."

When the members were asked if they want to have solo activities at all, Dara said, "I want to do it at least once when the opportunity comes but since we're doing group work right now, I'm totally into 2NE1."
