Hugh Jackman rescued Jennifer Lawrence...literally.

Jennifer Lawrence tripped on the stairs at the Academy Awards-and Hugh Jackman revealed that he's a real-life superhero.

As Jennifer was heading up the stairs to get her award for Best Actress in Silver Linings Playbook when, shockingly, she tripped. Hugh rushed to her rescue.

Awww!

Jackman said about his catch, "She fell right in front of me, so I wanted to help her. Anyone would have done it."

The "X-Men" costars make quite a pair-but this time, they were involved in a real-life rescue.

And Jennifer will be giving away the Oscar statue, it has recently been revealed. She'll be shipping it off to her parents, because, as she said, it was giving off bad vibes.

""I felt odd having it, like, on display in my house. If anybody's coming over to my house, I didn't want them to remember that. Just kind of puts a weird energy out."
